<p>Which school is more conservative or less liberal: University of Illinois at Urbana or Mizzou?</p>
<p>Coin flip? Neither is a known liberal hotbed, but just based on the political profile of the states involved, Mizzou is probably more conservative since there is no equivalent to Chicago in Missouri. But both have a pretty good political spectrum across the board. I informally keep track of schools that are extreme either way and I’d have no problem sending my kid to either school based on politics, they’d surely find a group to fit in with. Although if you’re one of those who insists that there be no Brand X to your Brand Y, that you won’t find - they aren’t monocultures.</p>
