Which school is the best out of the three listed below? Has anyone had any personal experiences with any of them? I’m looking at these three schools because I want to get my Bachelor’s of Science in Web Design & Development and I would like to complete it online.
The schools are:
-Southern New Hampshire University
-Franklin University
-Colorado Technical University
I’ve done my research on all of them and I’ve found some mixed reviews on each one of them. Some people love them, some have had horror stories with each one. Which school do you personally think is the best, in terms of how good the educational material, student support, professors, employment rate after graduation is, etc.? Please let me know about any experiences you’ve had with any of these colleges, good or bad or what you personally think about any of the three colleges I listed. Thanks so much! I appreciate any info.
@sovoxo it’s unlikely that anyone out there has studied extensively at all three schools, or even two out of three. So how do you expect anyone to personally know which is “the best”?

Based on those stats, one of these three schools appears to have significantly higher graduation and retention rates, lower total student debt, and a higher percentage of students paying off their debt than the other two. That’s probably the one I would go with.
Where do you live? Surely you have a state school where you can take online classes?
My cousin-in-law went to SNHU. He’s a smart guy and has a great job these days at a top consulting, but that was largely through family connections. Most of his classmates did not do as well, though if you live in New Hampshire and Maine, that’s less of an issue. Be careful, though – the online courses at SNHU can be no more flexible than in-person courses. I remember he bombed a class because the teacher gave him a zero for posting his project 2 minutes after midnight.
I teach online at SNHU. I’ve taught the same course three times. I was suitably impressed by the quality of the students in 2 of 3 terms. Faculty cannot edit the course content or assignments directly. “teaching” is facilitated through announcements and discussion. The expectations for faculty are high, but I don’t know how well the standards are enforced. I am evaluated on the timeliness and quality of my feedback and grading. Based on 15 years of experience teaching online at 4 different institutions, SNHU seems above average – but who knows, bad instructors and bad classes happen at any school so it will always be a bit of a pot luck situation.
