Which School? SEBS or SAS?

I'm currently a freshman at a community college and am majoring in biology. I want to go to med school. I'm looking to transfer to Rutgers, but I don't know to which school. Which one would be better for a student like me?

What are the pros and cons of each school, and how do you figure out where you want to dorm?

Well i want to pursue cell biology and neuroscience, which is only offered at SAS. If you just want to be a biology major, might as well go with SEBS.

From the SEBS website:
“SAS offers majors that focus on biology and its application to biomedicine, while SEBS offers majors that focus on the biological sciences as applied to the natural world.”

Have you visited SEBS on the Cook campus?

I have not visited yet, but am planning on it within the next few weeks. That will probably help in making a decision.

did you get into them

I applied when I was in high school and got into both of them. I wasn’t able to go though because of family reasons so I ended up going to a community college. So now I want to transfer so I’m going to apply for Fall 2011. I’m just want to do and decide things super early.

oh i see, good idea. i like the idea of visiting it too
