Which school should I attend this fall?

So here are my options:
University of Miami vs. University of Maryland College Park vs. University of Delaware vs. Syracuse University vs. Penn State University Park vs Stony Brook vs. SUNY Geneseo

I was waitlisted at Binghamton(my first choice) , U Rochester, Brandeis

I want to do pre-med and move on the medical school after college.

My high school grades are a 27 on my ACT and a 92.3% gpa which is about 3.7

Heres the catch at the University of Miami I got waitlisted/accepted for the Spring 2013 class or I could attend UMiami in DC for 6 months which is a program at the Tenley Campus of American University. There I would take two politcal science classes and an elective. All the credits would transfer to UMiami and I would get to take a class with the president of UMiami. Miami is ranked 38th in the country and I feel its the best and top school I was accepted to. Would I be foolish to pass this up or is UMiami just a party school?

I didn't like UMD college park because it was such a big public school.

I liked the University of Delaware a lot. It's a strong second choice for me. The campus and town were quiet and the girls were gorgeous. The only thing that worries me is that the reputation of University of Delaware is very lack luster and not such a good school. What do you think?

Syracuse had the best campus to me but the only thing is that it is freezing in Syracuse and for the money I'd rather go to a private school with good weather.

Stony Brook is ehh.

A lot of people are telling me to go to Geneseo because it's the Ivy of the SUNY system, but when I went on tour I just wasn't convinced. The town was small and literally in the middle of no where (6 hour drive). The people were a bit weird and the weather was below 18 degrees in MARCH! It would be a big change for me since I'm from the city and the school is really small. Would I have the best chances getting into medical school out of the "renowned" Geneseo or would I end up being miserable in the cornfields?

Money is not a factor.
Should I bank for my waitlist decisions?
What should I do?
Please help me make up my mind in my college decision. Thanks!

Remover WLs from your mind. If one comes knocking later, great. Otherwise, it’s the height of foolishness to bank on them.

It seems like Miami is the best option (although MD has a solid rep too). If you feel you’ll be enticed by Miami’s party rep, then you’ll tank at being a pre-med anywhere, to be frank.

If you were my kid, I’d recommend Miami and to have a 2nd look at UMD.

Best of luck to you – especially in your premed track. You have some solid options ahead of you. congrats.

Thanks a lot. What do you think of Geneseo?
