Hi everyone,
I recently got admitted to UCLA, UCR as neuroscience major and UCD as biology and UCI as pharmaceutical science. I am thankful that April has been a good month for me so far for the good news about school but now I am having a really hard time thinking choosing among these schools.
I am a pre-pharm student and I already finished my general science classes at a community college. I understand that some pharmacy schools do not require a bachelor degree.
Now I’d like to talk about a scenario: I really like neuroscience major and UCLA has been my dream school for a long time… I was so happy that I could make it. Many people said that neuroscience major in UCLA is an extremely hard work. I maintain my GPA at 3.5 in community college and I am not like a genius typical UCLA student.
So my question is should I go to UCLA as neuroscience major regardless of how my GPA will turn out? And the pharmacy school that I am applying does not require a bachelor degree. So, they wouldn’t care about how I handle in upper division courses because they are not related to pharmacy paths. Please suggest me and correct me if I am wrong. Thank you for taking your time reading this.
