Which School??

I don't know much about Cornell, but I think I may want to go there. I am considering either the school of arts and science or ILR. I only know about the latter through a friend. What is it? If I'm interested in a carerr in business which is a better choice? I would appreciate a reply. Thanks.

Someone, please answer this

Depends on what type of business. I suggest applying to CAS just because its so broad; you don't seem to know exactly what you want to do, so you should keep your options open.

Haha, its funny that your name is towerpumpkin and you're on the Cornell board. Does that have anything to do with the huge pumpkin they put on the tower at Cornell a few years back?

dude, if ivyboy is right, that's so cute! and yeah, i talked to a bunch of ppl in ilr, and it really depends on what you want. i know that i wanna go into corporate law, and if that's what you want, supposedly it's perfect coz it's a major feeder for law schools. idk if you're crazy into math or not, but i know a bunch of people who thought it was going to be more math-oriented, and they were wicked disappointed. but yeah, if i were you i think i'd apply to cas to keep your options open. if you decide that you wanna switch into ilr, it won't be a problem at all coz it's really easy to transfer from one school to another...

Yeah, the screenname comes from the pumpkin on the tower. I did some research and am still baffled as to how anyone could get a pumpkin on top of McGraw tower... Anyway its not really a surprise that I'm on here is it?
P.S. I also EDed Cornell hehe

It depends.

A common business major is actually in Ag, applied econonomics and management or AEM. Some people do ILR or even Hotel. it depends on what you want to do with it.

Arts actually isn't a business school, I don't know anyone who wants to go into business who's in arts.

Here's a link to the Cornell ALS Undergraduate Business Program Page.
