<p>i really need to go to a school for spring 2007 but i i have not given the new SAT with writing.
please tell which american schools are accepting the old sat.
i want to go for mechanical engineeing but if the school does not have that something related to science would work.</p>

<p>I believe all schools which require SATs will want the new version for this round. Your best bet is to search for SAT optional schools.</p>

i found WPI does not need the new SAT but it does need a SAT.</p>
<p>please can somebody else help. i had to telephone 8 universites befroe i found one.
i am giving the ACT in september but i'd like a few schools which don't need the new one on my list just in case. </p>
