<p>With your grades and test scores, you’d have a good shot at CalTech. They also are more numbers based and less focused on ECs (than MIT, Stanford and other Ivies). The schools take into account what opportunities you have available to you, so you won’t be in the automatic reject pile. Everyone was talking about UCs, so I assumed you were from CA (plus you did a summer thing at Stanford). Columbia also has a good engineering program (very good in mechanical).</p>
