Which schools are non-traditional student friendly?

Name some. Pretty Please. :}

What do you mean by non-traditional? I know what the term means generally, but specifically, assuming you are asking for yourself, how is it that you are non-traditional?

I graduated high school in 07. I’m going to start taking classes at my local cc beginning Spring of '10.

Stanford! 10char

Oi! im doomed :(

Vanderbilt, which has a 25% undergrad admit rate had 533 people apply to transfer this fall and accepted 298 (>50%), so they’re transfer-friendly (see collegeboard.com for this info).

As far as non-traditional students, I know they specifically mentioned that they get transfers who have been out of high school for 10 years or more, so I think they meet your qualification on that mark, as well.

Furthermore, they have an excellent financial aid program, so if you’re parents are poor then you won’t have to pay much (they cover 100% of demonstrated need through grants i.e. no loans)

All that being said, I’m not 100% sure they accept community college transfers (which I think is dumb since some people have financial and other situations that don’t permit them from doing anything else).

Thanks alot! However where did you get that Vandy doesn’t accept cc transfers? They dont mention anything on their website.

Nevermind. Someone on the Vanderbilt transfer thread verified they do accept cc tranfers.

The reason I inferred that is because I read somewhere they don’t accept CC credit, but maybe they make an exception if you transferred from there? (Just like they don’t allow current students to take courses for AXLE credit, but if you transfer there, they make an exception to that rule).
