I applied to Cate, Thacher, Loomis, Taft, Exeter, Andover, St. Paul’s, Lake Forest, Choate, Hockaday, and Hotchkiss.</p>
<p>I got into Cate, Taft, Loomis, Lake Forest, Hockaday, and Exeter with nice FA (thank God because otherwise there was no boarding school for me), I got waitlisted at SPS and Thacher, and I got rejected from Andover, Choate, and Hotchkiss.</p>
<p>All in all it has been a good day. I’m thinking Exeter, though I can tell Loomis, Taft, and Cate (especially) want me.
We will see.</p>
<p>Also to anyone who is disappointed don’t be so hard on yourself. The fact that you had people stick with you though the entire application process obviously shows that you’re a good students and deserving of a boarding school. It may not be the top schools in the US, but you will still have great opportunities. </p>
<p>Last year I got all rejections, but as soon as I finished balling my eyes out, I decided defiantly to try again. </p>
<p>There’s ALWAYS hope. And like they say, what doesn’t kill makes you so much stronger.
