Holy Cross would be a very good match. Great school spirit and alumni network that helps in job placement. The HC campus is very nice and as a small school, one gets individual attention from Profs.

Depauw university is a top tier lac with an amazing pre-med, biology and chem program. They also give amazing aid, and it is a pretty fun place to live and if you cant find fun there you can always drive about 30 min away to iu in bloomington

To the OP: What about a nontraditional school like New College of Florida or Hampshire or Bennington? They are known for a focus on the individual.
