Which schools for me?

Background

I'm from Singapore and am currently re-sitting for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-levels as a private candidate; I first took it last year with my school.

Grades

Projected A-level grades: ABC/BBC
Last year's grades: BUU (U=Ungraded, B for Literature)

SAT Scores

SAT I: 2040 - 740CR/690M/610W - Plan to retake. I think I could improve my score with due preparation.
SAT II: Taking January 23rd, Literature and Math II. - I'm fairly confident I might do well for the SAT IIs. (ie. 700+)

Extracurriculars

Bad.

Essay

I think I could do well for the essay.

I plan on majoring in either Philosophy and/or Political Science. I know given my grades I can't be too selective, but I'm looking for recommendations for schools which preferably have better international recognition.

I have several schools on my list now:
- University of Pittsburgh
- Boston University
- New York University
- UC Schools - UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego
- Carnegie Mellon
- Georgetown
- University of Virginia
- University of Michigan

Some (or most...) of these schools are obviously reaches. I would appreciate any other recommendations, or if you could chance me for my current options.

Thanks!
