Which schools have the most "grade deflation"?

It's more like which schools have the least grade inflation, but still...

state schools have been known to have tough curves and weeder classes. Among ivy-leaguers, Princeton is notorius for grade deflation. And Caltech is apparently brutal (probably moreso than Princeton, but I wouldn’t know from direct experience) when it comes to grades.

The University of Toronto is known for brutal grading. Same for many other Canadian schools.

CalTech, Harvey Mudd, and Reed also qualify.

Grade deflation is different from non-grade inflation (i.e. lack thereof). Princeton’s median (or mean? But irrelevant in such a sample size) GPA is a B+, when a bell curve’s would be a C. I would hardly call that grade deflation.

Does University of British Columbia have brutal grading, noimagination? What effect does that have for a student there? Do potential employers view a 3.2 from a school with grade deflation more negatively than a 3.7 from a notorious grade inflating school?

^ A better place for these questions is s t u d e n t a w a r d s . c o m, sort of like the Canadian CC. From what I know, UBC is a very competetive school but not quite as relentless as Toronto. That can either be a plus or a minus.
