I haven't found any on our list yet. Finished the FAFSA and Profile yesterday, and had extra questions pop up at the end of the Profile, but that's it.

My experience is that about 20% or fewer schools require their own FA form. I presume that your college app. list is shorter than 15 (maybe?) so the best thing is to EYEBALL each website very carefully (ya wonder why this info is sometimes so obscure–another life lesson for applicants?) and perhaps even call each place, if there are not too many to call. It’s worth the trouble to avoid the possible loss of thousands of dollars, IMHO.

I’d guess it’s closer to 50% or more. But the forms range from a one page form “what’s your name, what’s your SSN, did you fill out the FAFSA?” to forms that can total a half inch thick.

Like radimom said, examine their websites and all those envelopes very carefully.

Once schools receive fiAnancial aid info (henas part of accepting the offer I seem to remember a one page shEet we filled out along with verification forms ( copies of 1040 and w2’s)n but nothing onerous.

A couple of the schools my son applied to also requested that students fill out the Cal Grant form.
