I just read that some schools accept scores electronically and hence receive scores immediately. So just to save everyone money and time, can we make a list of all the ivies and other popular schools?

bump .

Um, why would you need a list of ivies and popular schools to decide which colleges you’re sending scores to?

Nah the list of ivies and other popular schools is for OTHER people who may need to use this as a reference.

Well the only one I know thus far is:

Harvard = Don’t rush

Cornell - Do NOT rush “We will accept scores after the deadline.”
Columbia - Do NOT rush
Williams - “If some material will be delayed, candidates should submit at least the personal application by this date. Official results from College Board exams taken through December will be considered”

UChicago - "All testing must be completed prior to the application deadline. "

maybe you should have listed schools you are applying to so we could be more helpful?

what do you mean rush jan scores?

bump 10 char

I think SAT score report for Rice is due on December 31st, so yes: Rush.

I have a random question:what does rush score mean?Does deleting SAT score count?

[SAT Rush Reporting](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>Send SAT Scores to Colleges - SAT Suite | College Board)

The problem with rush reporting is that some schools receive the SAT electronically, making “rushing” it actually SLOWER.

Okay I think this is the list so far:

Harvard= No Rush
Cornell= No Rush
Columbia= No Rush
UPenn= ED: Rush RD: No Rush
Brown=?
Yale=?
Princeton=?
Williams= Can’t sit Jan SAT
UChicago= Can’t sit Jan SAT

Can we then just safely assume that the trend for ivies seem to be NO RUSH?

All ivies, Stanford, MIT, Chicago, Northwestern Wash U St L., and essentially all the schools in any of the higher ranked schools in the USNews lists accept December scores via regular delivery and just order them as soon as score comes out. The application deadlines are not test score deadlines.

@ drusba: yes I know, I meant the January SAT scores

would also like to know whether or not to rush report january scores.
