which schools to send FAFSA to

<p>the form only allows for 6 schools, and many people apply to 7 or more..</p>

<p>the "surplus" schools that you don't put on the form you can send the FAFSA info to after you get your SAR -that i understand. but they'll know that you didn't put them on the FAFSA form, that they were the schools that were left over, so to say.</p>

<p>so how do i choose which schools to put on FAFSA?
-by their cost (putting costlier schools at the top of the list)
-by how much i want to go there (schools i might not really go to will not be sent to first)
-by their priority deadlines (the closer the deadlines..)
-other?</p>

<p>i think i know what i will do, but just seeing if anyone has any comments. thank you, all.</p>

<p>Once you get back your SAR (Student Aid Report) you can add another 6 and so on.</p>
