On a similar note, don't you guys think it's unfair how some schools accept the ACT without any Subject Tests needed? I wish I had understood the ACT much better before trying so hard to do well on my SATs..which I'm not doing so hotly on either.

The Common Application has space on the main page for six Subject Test scores. Homeschoolers are often advised, and by a few colleges required, to submit up to five Subject Test scores. Anyone else who has an extra Subject Test score shouldn’t worry about submitting it and self-reporting it on the application.

Some colleges indicated that they would accept college classes taken as an indicator of mastery, and they could be submitted in lieu of Subject Test scores.

When I write down my scores on the app, and I only want them to consider two of my scores, should I/is it recommended that I write the SAT II score that I did badly on (which was on another subject)? I mean they’ll see it anyways…
A bad, as in 470 bad.

nooo don’t send it they don’t have to see all of your SAT II’s. I hear some colleges do require that they see all of the grades for the reasoning test, if you have taken it more than once.

Um, the question is from 2007. Some facts (a LOT of facts about sending SAT scores) have changed since then. Be careful when reviving old threads.

Princeton now only requires two SAT II’s. They changed their policy since last year, check their website/admission requirements if you don’t believe me.
