Which science class to take over the summer?

I wasn't really sure where to post this so I thought I'd ask in this broader section. I am taking a science, with lab and a math class over Summer III(June-August)

My community college here has Earth Science, a geology course and it has has Oceanography, also a geology course. Also the regular bio and chem classes but I wanted to try something new because I took these in high school and one micro bio when my major was something else so I don't have interest in those. I was going to go with Earth Science but its at a different campus(same school though, but a longer drive) so Oceanography is more convenient but no big deal because it's two days a week at night.

Has anyone taken Oceanography or Earth Science? They would be the regular classes for both, I checked and they are both accepted my university. I'm not totally against taking bio but thought it would be cool to take something more interesting. Thanks.

Both bio and chem are required as GE courses in college I think but if you want a more interesting class, earth science sounds like a class I would take  I’ve never taken earth science or oceanography but my pick is for earth science in the “interesting class” category :D

Wind, that’s not true. It depends on your college. Op, you said they were both accepted but do either fill a requirement?

Yes they both fulfill the Natural Science core requirements. I haven’t been to a school that requires both Bio and Chem for regular degrees but for science, engineering types they do. I think it depends on your major but mine doesn’t need any additional science classes.

If they’re both of equal interest to you, then I would look for professor ratings. Take these with a grain of salt, but it might push you one way or another :).
