SAT:
2020 650 M 670 CR 700 W 10E
2170 720 M 690 CR 760 W 10E
2090 680 M 630 CR 780 W 11E
2190 Super Score
SAT II:
700 Physics
730 World History
760 United States

So, my question is, what scores should I send? I have already sent scores to my EA schools (UVA Georgetown) but I have yet to send scores to my RD schools (Vanderbilt, Duke, Princeton(lol)). I am leaning towards sending my ACT only because my math is slightly higher (32 vs 720) my Reading is much better (34 vs. 690). I am considering sending my SAT because of my 780 and 11 Essay (as opposed to my ACT 9 Essay). I am very worried about how my low math and CR scores on the SAT will hurt my chances if these schools see them. Should I just send ACT only and hope the 9 Essay doesn't hurt me. I know my math and reading look better which is mainly what matters. Also, Should I even send my subject test scores? If I choose to only send my ACT should I send both? My second one is better in every way except that my R is 33 as opposed to the 34 I got on the first one, but my E is 34 as opposed to 32 on my first one (and I have heard english is more important than reading on the ACT)....
Thanks for the help!!

As to SAT subject tests: (a) you do not have an option as to Princeton; you must submit at least two subject test scores because they are required regardless of whether you submit ACT or SAT; (b) Vanderbilt does not require subject tests but “strongly recommends” them regardless of whether you submit SAT or ACT; (c) Duke accepts ACT in lieu of both SAT and SAT IIs. Your subject tests are in the 700s and thus good enough to send to any college; they won’t hurt you and they may help.

Your 33 ACT is better than your 32 including because the three colleges you mention view the math and English scores as the more important.

The three colleges you mention also use highest scores for admission and superscore the SAT by taking highest section scores. Thus, sending all three SATs will help not hurt you.

I would send all the SATs and subject tests and at least the 33 ACT and let them decide which they believe is higher and should be used for admission. Because sending the second ACT is an additonal cost, I would probably not send the 32

[li]Your composite score is a 33, and your worst section is science, which colleges don’t really look at.
[/li]

[li]especially after the reality TV essay, colleges don’t care at all what your essay score is.[/li][/ul]
