<p>I would say that you should only send the second score if the school superscores because then obviously you would have a 34. Otherwise, you have the same score on both exams, so it’s not a big deal. Also, science is probably the least regarded section because it is so inconsistent in difficulty from test to test more so than the other three sections.</p>
<p>I agree. Check on whether your school superscores the ACT. Many do. I found a list on CC of all of the schools that do, and it was quite extensive and included many selective colleges, like Amherst. Also, you’ll note on the Common App that it asks you to put down your highest score in each subject and the date associated w/ that score (and the highest composite and its date). If you submit both, then you could put that 33 for science.</p>
<p>When I applied early, I wrote on my common app that I’m going to retake the ACT on the date which I took it. Should I update that school now with my new score? If so, how do I go about doing this? Do I just send the official report via the website like normal?</p>
