Which score to use?

<p>I'm a senior, 4.0 UW GPA, most challenging curriculum in my high school, and first in my class of about 140. I'm not sure which ACT score is better to send:</p>

<p>April 2013</p>

<p>E: 28
M: 30
R: 29
S: 34
C: 30</p>

<p>September 2013</p>

<p>E: 32
M: 32
R: 28
S: 26
C: 30</p>

<p>I had a concussion the week before I took the September test, which I think affected my ability to focus on the science graphs and charts.</p>

<p>The September scores seem like a no-brainer to send, but I want to do engineering, so I'm not sure which ones to use.</p>

<p>If you want to apply to engineering, use your September score. If the colleges even look at your individual scores, a higher math will look better than a higher science.</p>

<p>Do send both. It is a hard decision between them. Many schools would look at your best section scores in later review even though they may not superscore ACT.</p>
