So my friend and I had this bet.

I'm saying i'd rather have his score, and he says my scores are better.

We decided to get some objective opinions from people at CC

My friend:
Took the SAT once
CR 730
MA 800
WR 790 (MC 80 Essay 9)

Total 1530/2320

Me:
Took the SAT Twice
CR 710
MA 790
WR 730 ( MC -1 essay 8 :( )

Total 1500 / 2230

CR 750
MA 800
WR 750 (MC -1 essay 8 :( :( )

Total 1550 / 2300

Superscore = highest single sitting = 1550 / 2300

My main argument is, that he took the SAT only once, and his total is still higher than me even after I took the test twice. His argument is that although I took it twice my superscored total is 2300, and that my CR and MA composite is 20 points higher than him. He says the writing score doesn't really matter, but in my opinion, an essay score of 8 is pretty horrible.

So, 2 times SAT + 20 points less total + 8 essay?
or 1 time SAT + 20 less MA CR composite?

(Keep in mind that I'm also applying to school where i have to send both of my scores)

So... Whose scores would you rather have? We're both Asians so these scores are average.
