Okay, I know Yale will take either the SAT and two subject tests, or the ACT. I got a 2040 on my SAT (760 writing, 660 CR, 620 math), and a 28 on my ACT. I sent both, thinking they would just consider the ACT score. I just got back my SAT subject tests (690 Lit, 660 Bio M). Considering my SAT score, whether it's better than my ACT score, should I submit my SAT subject tests so they consider the SAT I score????? I need to do it soon because Jan. was the last date they would accept them.

Any advice?

“I sent both”

Unlike other colleges, Yale requires applicants to submit ALL scores from ALL test dates. As you previously submitted both your SAT and ACT scores (you only had to submit one of them), you are now required to send Yale everything you have.
QUESTION: “What test results should I report to Yale?”

ANSWER: “You must report the scores of all of the SATs and SAT Subject Tests or all of the ACTs and ACT Writing Tests that you’ve taken. If you choose to fulfill the requirement with SAT scores, then it’s not necessary to send any scores from the ACT, even if you’ve taken the ACT. If you choose to fulfill the requirement using the ACT, then you don’t need to send us any SAT scores unless you wish to do so. Whichever type of test you choose, you must report all your scores from every time you’ve taken that type of test. And if you choose to use a combination of SAT and ACT test results, you must report all scores from both agencies.”
