<p>depends on who you are…If you’re Chinese like I am, you should select the 2250 one coz failure to achieve a perfect score on kindergarten math is the biggest humiliation ever. Otherwise the 2340 is absolutely more impressive…</p>

<p>definitely the 2340. coz math 800 is way too common, while a writing 800 is very rare.</p>
<p>^780 m means you are capable of making stupid mathematical mistakes, and thus further indicates that you are not particularly meticulous to details which hurts you a big deal if you’re a science student.</p>

<p>What I really mean is that 800 m is so commonplace among Chinese applicants that you are way less competitive if you are a Chinese student who has not got a perfect M score. </p>
<p>But among locals, 780 is certainly an impressive score.</p>

A 780 in math is just a simple mistake. Considering that you have 54 questions, it can be overlooked. Anyways, it’s almost 100 pts higher than 2250.</p>

It is much more difficult to get admissioned if you are a Chinese than US or European.
ANd still ,if you think CHinese education is better than the US ones,why are you applying to American colleges ?</p>
