Which scores should I send?

Which scores should I send?

ACT first date: 30 Composite
English-34
Math-29
Reading-28
Science-27
Writing- 9/12
Writing/English- 32

ACT second date: 31 Composite
English-35
Math-29
Reading-33
Science-25
Writing-8/12
Writing/English-31

I will also send my SATs (690 reading, 700 math, 750 writing). My issue is that each ACT score has to be sent separately, so if I sent both that'd be $20, plus $10 for the SAT. $30 for each school?? Is it worth it to send the 30 composite score since I got higher on the science and writing sections? (I will be a science major, I'm just terrible at the science ACTs for some reason).

Thanks!

I honestly don’t know why you would want to send either of them, as your SAT is about 70-80 points higher (out of 2400, about 30 points out of 1600) than a 31 composite, and a 27 isn’t going to be looked at too favorably if you want to go for science.

Ok, thanks. I want to send an ACT because I can’t send SAT subject test scores, and my schools accept the SAT with two subject tests, or the ACT with writing. So I hoping to send my ACT and just the regular SAT. I’m not even sure if that’s allowed though.

If you do that, they will disregard your SAT score, as it doesn’t fulfill that school’s requirement; like Yale for example, if you send them both scores, since your SAT alone doesn’t fulfill the school’s requirement, but your ACT does, the admission officers will use that; have you ever thought about taking subject tests? & what schools are you looking at?

Ok, thanks, I didn’t know that. Should I send “eh” subject test scores if it will help fill the school’s requirement?

That’s honestly up to you…if you could get two 700+s, that wouldn’t be detrimental to your chances (imo)

If they are below 700, should I just send ACTs?

It depends how far below…
