Which scores should I submit ?

My son has the following scores

ACT: composite score 33 (eng 34, math, 33,reading 32, science 33, writing 30)
SAT (Super score): 2070 (Reading: 740, Math: 710, Writing: 620)

Here is his list of schools in preference:

UCB
Cal Poly SLO
USC
UCSD
Santa Clara
UCI
Pepperdine

Major: Computer Science or Business

Should he submit just his ACT (given that the 33 is equivalent to 2190)
OR
both SAT and ACT ?

Thanks -

I would submit ACT; mostly because W 620 in SAT reasoning.
One of my children submitted ACT only because its conversion to SAT gave a higher score

Here is the conversion chart for ACT-SAT. If you convert his ACT to SAT it is ~ 2130

I personally would submit both. The schools will pick what they think is higher and
both of those scores are great.

You could also calculate the UC Score for SAT and ACT as well.

[University of California - Statewide path](http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/freshman/california-residents/admissions-index/index.html)

My thinking on that was to submit both for my daughter with similar statistics because I felt that it showed a good depth, as opposed to having one score that was much higher than the other. Remember for Cal Poly, the ACTis the preferred test so you definitely want that to go there.
