which scores to report ?

I have taken the SAT twice.
My scores last April: 630 Reading, 760 Math, 620 Writing (total 2010).
My scores last June: 680 Reading, 690 Math, 650 Writing (total 2020).

I know that all my scores will eventually be sent out, but which of the two scores should I enter on my application? I want to major in engineering, so should I report my April test with the better math score even though I didn't do as well on the Critical Reading?
Thanks for any advice.

Yes, I think your math score is much more important. So you'd do better to rport that one

thats crazy that u dropped like 70 points in math in 2 months

760 math score is wicked impressive!

You usually enter the highest scores achieved for each test section, which would mean 680 CR, 760 M, 650 W.

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, the UC's require that the SAT scores be from the same sitting, so I'll have to choose.

I agree with Duygu -- report the higher math score. It is far more critical for engineering. My son is now preparing his applications for engineering graduate school and we are finding that they only seem interested in the quantitative portion of the GRE.
