I'm applying for engineering, mostly at small to medium sized liberal arts schools, with strong engineering programs. My act score and SAT score are almost exactly alike. My concern is that the act shows a 28 science, which drops my score. Additionally some schools require my SAT 2's and some don't. So I guess my question is what should I send for the following :

Requires either ACT or SAT (Both if you want)

Requires SAT with SAT II's or just ACT

SAT or ACT with optional SAT 2's (Bucknell)

Does the science section even matter for the ACT? Does writing matter for the SAT? Do I have to send all my SAT scores if i send my SAt II's and will that hurt me?

Anyone?

If you are trying to save money, just send SAT1 (both sittings for superscore) and both subject tests to all schools regardless of whether they want subject tests or not IF they superscore the SAT1. They always want subject test scores if you have them, and yours are excellent!

If money is not a problem, and especially if the college does not superscore, Submit everything- SAT1s (both), ACT, and your subject tests. Subject tests more than make up for a lower science on the ACT, and the composite is comparable to your SAT1 superscore. The advantage of submitting the one sitting ACT is that it is your highest single sitting score if any of your schools do not superscore the SAT1.

thanks, have a great weekend.
