Hi everyone! I’m a rising senior, and trying to figure out my college applications. Some schools I’m applying to (like Georgetown) don’t have score choice, but for the schools that do have score choice, I don’t know which scores to send. I got a 2200 on my SAT’s (760 Math, 750 CR, 690 W) the second sitting and a 33 on the ACT (34 Math, 34 Science, 33 Reading, 32 English, 30 English/Writing). A 33 composite translates to a 2180 on the SAT, which is slightly lower, but I’m afraid the 690 might hurt me. However, if I send my ACT scores, I’m afraid the 30 will hurt me. Although I know I should be happy with these scores, I’m applying to a couple Ivies and other top schools. Since I want to get into the best school possible, which should I submit?
Along the same lines, I’m not sure if I should submit my subject test scores. I have a 710 (Bio E), 700 (Math I), 700 (US History), and my Math II score (which I’m taking in October). I know the threshold for a good score is supposedly 700+, but I don’t know if these scores will help more than hurt. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
