Which senior math courseo would look the best on my college transcript?

As a senior, which math class would look better on ones transcript? I did not have the oppurtunity to take Algebra I before 9th grade, therefore I can't take AP Calc in HS. I plan on majoring in Economics/Business at an upper-tier school(ivies, etc. and I know I have good/great chances). However, I am not sure if I should take Pre-Calculus as a senior or AP Statistics. I would like to take statistics, as it seems easier to me, but I know economics majors take calculus. If I did take statistics, I would have virtually no experience with calculus before entering college. Statistics AP would bring me to 5 AP's my senior year.
The only time I would major in business is if I was accepted to Wharton, otherwise economics. Any ideas?

take both concurrently

if you can't take both, then PreCalc is the only choice.

try hard to take both, as both are extremely vital

You could always take one of them through a virtual school. My D did that with Geometry a couple of summers ago so she could get up to AP calculus by ths year. It was fairly expensive though, I believe it was $600.

Precalc is infinitely more important than Stats at this point. If you can only take one, this should not even be a debate; precalc is the right choice.

Thank you all. I was thinking pre-calc was the right choice. I can take them both but it eliminates an AP course that I would enjoy taking so I am not sure if I will. I will probably just take statistics in college. GA2012MOM: I was considering taking an online course in calculus through Johns Hopkins U I believe...The school would not let me take it as an actual credit class though.
