Which set of scores to list?

I'm applying to the UC system, looking at the engineering department and I need help in choosing which SAT scores I should list on the application.

CR: 700
Math: 770
Writing: 800 (9 Essay)
Total: 2270

Or

CR: 770
Math: 740
Writing: 710 (8 Essay)
Total: 2220

My Math 2 score was 800.
I want to send in the 2270 score, but the drop in CR really makes me nervous. Will I have a better chance if I use the 2270 score, even if the CR is lower? Will the UC system weight my bump in Math and Writing more than the drop in Critical Reading? Is there any chance they will look at both test results and take into account that I had done better on the CR before?

Thanks for all the help, guys.

2nd one or both

1510>1470

2340 superscored

UCs don’t superscore. UCs take only a single sitting total score. UCs require all scores to be sent per score choice policy.

So you have it. You send everything. They pick the best sitting. They ask you for this in the Pathways app as well.

I’m all bummed out that my first sitting is still my best, though I’ve done much better if only they superscored!

I’d send everything. Your scores are great and can only help you. They are supposed to pick the best, and your bests show you are super good at everything. Nice work!
