Which should I dedicate time to: ACT or SAT?

I am getting into the college application period now for colleges. The window to take college entrance exams before early admission/ early action for the schools I am looking at is rapidly closing.

Should I retake the SAT? My second try with a prep course was…
CR:630
M:620
W:700
Composite: 1950

Or the ACT? I took this once, no prep course. Blind exam, basically.
Math: 28
Science:29
English:30
Reading:32
Composite:30

I know that both scores are decent, but I am not sure if they are competitive. I also have a 4.34 GPA and rigorous course load. Which should I retake? Should I focus on one or the other? Or just do both?

Focus on ACT, it is easier second time around, after studying. The scores you have now are ok, but neither is great, so you definitely need to retake. Study the Act and take the practice tests and you should do fine, take it first thing in the fall though, dont wait for second go round. And do not send those SAT scores, they are not really competitive.
