which should i retake?

<p>i am debating which sat ii to retake..
i took english and physics in may, and got a 690 (english) and 550 (physics)..</p>

<p>my question is should i try to improve more on physics..or should i just give up on that and concentrate on english.the reason why i don't want to do that is b/c i feel english is harder to study for and i am applying to mit in the fall..but i'm wondering if i should just use my chemistry score for that b/c i am also taking chemistry and math in june...
any tips on how to improve on physics, and if it is possible to improve in this short amount of time would be great!</p>

<p>I think that you pretty much have to retake physics if you plant to apply to MIT. If you feel that you can improve lit without studying (perhaps just having a better test taking day the second time) then I would retake lit, especially if those are your only SAT 2’s.</p>

<p>well right now i also have chinese 790, and u.s. history 680, which i don’t want to retake cuz i took it last yr…i’m just concerned i won’t be able to raise my physics grade in such a short time…</p>

<p>MIT focuses on math/physics…I say screw lit and study physics =P</p>
