Which Should I Take? HELP Prease!

Hey everyone. I am a Junior, and I still need to take three of the SAT Subject tests, so I'd love any advice any people have for me! I am going to take three; I am just not sure which or when to take them.

Here are my options:

~History~
[X] US History (DEFINITE-- is this one hard?)
[ ] World History

~Math~
[ ] Math I
[ ] Math II

I heard that Math II was much more difficult, but that in Math I, it is so easy that if you miss one, you are already in the low 700s, while you can miss a few with Math II and make a perfect score. Which is better?

~Other~
[ ] Biology
[ ] Literature

I am very good at English, but I am not the best critical reader. That is my toughest part of the SAT. I like Biology, but I have heard that the Subject test for Biology is extremely difficult. Alternatively, perhaps I could take Chemistry (though I don't have the class), and then make a 5 on the AP to look good. Thoughts?

Also, when should I take them?

Thank you!

Bump!

It seems everyone has forgotten to respond ;)

Yeah, this section seems pretty deserted right now. Anyway . . .

US History is not terribly difficult; it does, however, test randomly in-depth occurrences, so study comprehensively.

If you’ve taken/completed Pre-Calculus, then I’d highly recommend taking the Math II. It’s got a much nicer curve (on average, 4-6 questions wrong can still yield a perfect score) when compared to the Math I.

As far as Biology goes, I’m not sure as I haven’t taken that one myself, but Literature is very similar to Critical Reading on the SAT, with one exception: all of it is written in confusing styles of English, so if you haven’t spent some time learning how to analyze old poetry/stories, I’d say don’t take it.

And don’t take the SAT II Chem if you haven’t taken the AP course yet, unless you’re amazing at teaching yourself an entire subject, lol.

History: US History - easier than World History according to most people

Math: Math II - you can miss quite a few questions and still get 800; take this esp if you’re applying to high caliber schools-they would rather see that you’ve challenged yourself

Other: Biology, unless you aced the Critical Reading section on the SAT Reasoning and are very good at quickly reading passages & discerning meaning/analyzing/finding tone, metaphors, etc. Biology is easier to study for if you are okay or good at it, while it’s harder to really study for lit.
