Which should I write about A or B???

Hi!
I'm applying for a governors scholar program in Kentucky. But I'm not sure what to write about for the following prompt. I have two things I could write about but I'm not sure which the judges would like the best. Please read the prompt and chose whichever letter (A or B) you think I should write about.

Prompt: What is an example of a personal and unique activity that sets you apart from your peers? Briefly describe the reason(s) for its importance to you. Unique activities can include hobbies, service to others, internships, of job experiences or creative and artistic expressions. (Note: This is an important opportunity to distinguish yourself in this highly competitive process.) Please limit personal or unique interest or experience description to 250 words or less.

Okay... here's the choices.....

A. Write about my founding of the Appalachian Care Project. Consists of providing families in eastern Kentucky with adequate housing, food, clothes, shoes, and personal items. The project is now in its 3rd year. To date, we have provided over 30 families with adequate housing, this consists of making their current home into an adequate place to live or giving them a mobile home to live in.

B. Write about my founding of a non-profit Brain Research Organization. Constists of raising money for various univeristies for their brain research department. To date we've raised almost $6,000 for brian research at Kentucky universities. The project is now in its 3rd year. We also help spread awareness of brian cancer through fun brian fairs.

So which should I write about A or B??? thanks!!!!

A, to me, seems a lot better functionally. Brain research is an important science, but the raising of $6000 seems pretty weak compared to helping out 30 families not to mention the emotional support your organization just being there undoubtedly provided.

Good luck!

I would say A too because of its emotional impact.
