Which SSAT score to send or both?

DD took 2 SSAT tests. Totals are the same with the later one having a lightly lower raw score. Both math are the same too. However, the later one has 79% on verbal, 98% on reading. The earlier one has 94% on verbal, 89% on reading.

She wonders which score to send to the schools, or send both. She is applying the top tier schools.

Really appreciate any suggestions!

I would send both in that situation, because each set has a high score that the other set does not have.

I would also send both, unless she believes that she did materially worse on the ungraded writing portion of the later test, in which case I would send only the earlier. Disclaimer: My child is also in the application process, and we’re making it up as we go along.

Looking into her score details, she had the most errors in the synonym section of the verbal test. She is very surprised there are these many error and highly suspect it could bubble in errors. Is there a way to find out from SSAT? If it is bubble in error, should she explain to the schools?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

She has one test with a high verbal score, which demonstrates her knowledge and ability in this area. There is no way for the SSAT administrators to know what was in her mind when she bubbled in her answers. You are better off just sending both sets of scores and letting her high scores speak for themselves without excuses.
