Which Standardized Test Scores to Report

I have taken the SAT 2 times, and I've taken the ACT thrice. It goes as follows:
SAT 1: 2040
SAT 2: not good, don't have the score yet though
ACT 1: 30
ACT 2: 29
ACT 3: 34

So... if I only want to send my ACT score of a 34, and nothing else (besides my SAT II's), how can I do that? Don't I have to submit all of my scores? I am very confused with how collegeboard does this, and I am not sure if I can lie on the common app saying I've never taken the SAT to hide my score from universities.

Thanks for any help!

It all depends on whether or not the school allows you to use score choice. If you are allowed to use score choice, that means you can send ONLY your 34. If it does not, then you have to send all 3 of your ACT scores if you wish to apply with the ACT. Same thing applies to the SAT, except for the SAT 1 score report contains all of your score choices and costs about 11$, whereas for the ACT 1 score report only contains ONE score from ONE test date, and costs 12$. Therefore, if a school does not use score choice and you wish to apply using ACT instead of SAT, it will cost you about 25$ more (3*12 = 36. 36 - 11 = 25)

So for Princeton, they allow score choice, meaning I can report only my 34. But for Columbia, they want all of the scores, so… How do I report that on my common app? Do I just put them all down in the standardized testing section? Or leave it blank and send it in separately to each school?

There does not need to be a one-size-fits-all answer to this question. It’s fine to individualize your apps based on each school’s requirements or preferences. You can revise the self-reported scores section of the common app between submissions. Through collegeboard/ACT you can select exactly which scores to send each school.
