Which state would you hate to live in the most?

It’s us Jews. We’re just interesting :p.

(I have Jewish heritage lol).

lol Lewiston is the freaking ghetto compared to Portland, from what I’ve heard. Some guy that lived near my dad’s apartment there stabbed his wife and mother after he thought they were having an affair together

There’s a thread for that :b

I would probably NOT live anywhere else but the Northeast (new england, mid atlantic, etc). Add to that maybe FL, CA

Any state that doesn’t have hot summers and cold winters.

It’s hard to choose b/c im sort of out there and these places are rather conservative and rural but I really would hate to live in Mississippi, Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, and the Dakotas.

Any state where you have to rely on air conditioning year round. Like Florida. People who live there claim they really like the weather, but spend the entire time inside in the a/c. I don’t understand.

I’d hate to live in Arizona

Lol Portland, ME is a nice city. We drive through it on our way up to our cottage in the summer. Nice coast line, small city feel, minor league baseball, and B&M BAKED BEANS!!! in one of the most unsanitary-looking buildings you will ever want to see.

Any state without a coast.

“I’d hate to live in New York; too much pollution and too busy”

Actually, not all places in new york are busy. I live in a quiet town… Plus, there is great outdoor life in the country-part of the state. Obviously no pollution there. I’m proud to be from New york, it has great colleges…

Anyway i would really hate to live in Montana, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska… pretty much any place that doesn’t have big, famous cities around.

Montana. or Missouri.
the rural communities and the meth problem.
meth scares me.

lol yeah, they really need to repaint it. Portland is epic compared to Bangor - the city we have only an hour away - with it’s cylindrical hotels and mall with an Apple Store and everything compared to Bangor’s water tower and population of 30,000.

^^^I used to live in NY, and it was basically the middle of nowhere. Whoever thinks new york is all city and pollution clearly doesn’t know the place enough :p.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention Kentucky

“there’s just some states that you go… what is there to do there, has anything ever even happened there? like iowa, north dakota, indiana, etc… and then theres new jersey. lol”

I LOVE Indiana. At least, northern Indiana… And let me tell you, I’m a city person through-and-through. Right along Lake Michigan in the Indiana Dunes… you’re like 1.5 hrs outside of Chicago, gorgeous body of water stretching out past the horizon with a faint view of Chicago’s skyline in the distance. Sand dunes you can climb; the people tend to be really nice, and some who live in Chi-town even have second homes in the area so it’s not hick-y. It’s really gorgeous.

“Wyoming and Montana are beautiful, though [road trip]. There aren’t many people, but if you’re at all outdoorsy or like peace and solitude, they’re nice places. Glacier National Park is especially beautiful in early fall.”

Never been to WY, but I can attest to Montana being AMAZING. Glacier is absolutely-freaking-gorgeous. The most beautiful place I’ve been in my life. And I really do love Montana… something about it…

Idaho, on the other hand… God. You just… don’t wanna go there. It has its rather provincial charms, but I sort of consider it like the West Virgina of the NW. I also plan to stay away from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Nebraska, the Dakotas, etc. And while I really want to VISIT the South, I just don’t think I could live there…

Florida. Actually, just Jacksonville.

lol…I don’t hate any state that much to never want to live there and I’ve been to 30+ states and lived in a few. idk, guess I’m just lucky

“Montana. or Missouri.
the rural communities and the meth problem.
meth scares me.”

I live in Missouri and it is really bad.

I would not want to live in Alaska because of the sunlight/weather issues.

Anywhere except for California, Massachusetts, New York, and Virginia.
