<p>The costs involved in hiring someone, or worse, firing someone who does not fit, precludes judging basing on solely school attended, or flipping a coin. I have seen people pre-judged to fit based on school attended, and this normally happens in organizations that developed straight out of one school’s graduate class. I personally would not do this and always thought it detrimental to the organization that did. But then again, this had little to do with school prestige and more to do with…I guess school patriotism?</p>
