I'm a junior and I want to take 3 SAT IIs before next year. I'm currently taking AP US History, AP Lang, and AP AB Calc. Will Lang prepare me for the Lit SAT II? And I need to take that in January because of my schedule. I'm also definitely taking US History in June, and one other SAT II. Which other subject should I take? I took bio freshman year, so it would be a disaster if I tried to re-teach myself biology. And my physics course this year doesn't cover electricity and magnetism, which are both on the Physics Subject Test. Should I take Math I or Math II or something?

What major are you applying ?

You should take the SAT subject tests that are required by any colleges you’re applying to (e.g. for Caltech/MIT, a math and a science test). If they don’t require any subject tests in particular, simply take the ones you’re best at.

Yeah, I’m matching my SAT II tests up with my classes. Also, think about what you like and/or want to major in to show colleges what you are good at (I’m doing Bio and Spanish). Remember that the math tests do not cover calculus so you might want to review trig and such before taking one of them.
