I have exhausted all the subjects that were pertaining to my syllabus (Maths and Physics), so I need to study a new subject from scratch. My strengths: logic and memory. I have a very good memory and am quite interested in World History. Any recommendations for books? :)

US history has a lot to do with memorization...I am sooooo mad i didn't take the SAT II last year

Do you have a knack for Literature? If so take the test. (Virtually no prep required.)

^ I dislike literature.. Heh. Too...fluffy. But I have a biased opinion. Didnt take it since 5 years ago.

hey i am a junior,

do you guys think its possible to just self-study world history over the summer and take the test at the begining of senior year. is it just a bunch of facts?

Yes, I do believe that it is possible to self-study the histories. It is basically facts, and if you are decent at history and are a good memorizer, go for it.

if collegeboard decides not to have world history SATIIs this october, will it be too late to take it in November/December? (if I am going to be a senior in September)

I would like to know the answer to the last question as well.

for any early action/decision schools, most will take tests taken in November, but not in december. I am under the impression that only stnaford (that i know f) will not take november tests.

but if you are applying regular to anywhere, you can take any test until January and it will still be sent to the college of your choice for mos colleges. check with individual colleges, but most colleges will take any test score up until January
