Which summer program do you recommend?

I'm a junior and I'm thinking about summer already :P.

I'm trying to decide between COSMOS (UCSD seems like a nice place to stay; cheap; UCs will like), Columbia (the name of the school; seems like a lot of fun; reallllly pricey though), or CTY (Also the name; I heard lots of good things; not sure if I'm interested in medical but I found biology to be tolerable).

I think you might be a little old for CTY... I don't know much about COSMOS, but I went to Columbia last summer (Advanced Creative Writing) and it was seriously awesome! It's worth it! The classes are amazing, the experience is amazing, and the city is really great.

dude do the uc santa barbara research mentorship program..it's amazing (if you're into research that is)

my son's friend did cosmos at UCSD and said it was fairly boring.....he did Cornell Summer college the following year -- but pricey.

If you are a minority (including asian american) I would look into LEAD. Its a program in business. I attended this summer and it changed my life.

All my friends are going medical and I'm going into engineering/management.

And how is being Asian a part of a minority?!

Of course Asians are a minority, they're just not an URM.
