<p>Why not Harvard SSP? A friend of mine received $6,000 financial aid (weird...) and the entire program is like 8.5-9k.</p>
<p>It'd really be a better use of your money to take CC courses over the summer for a tenth of the price, and maybe do something else constructive, the general consensus on summer programs (on this site at least) is that while they are helpful and show academic dedication, they are also a great signal of affluence (unless you can get finaid, which is usually very limited).</p>
<p>That having been said, I had one of the best times of my life at a full length 8 week summer program, at least until I got to real college.</p>
