By popular I mean that the games tend to sell out and there is lots of enthusiasm among the students and faculty and all that. I've heard that Oswego has this. Does any other SUNY campus?

Back in the day, SUNY Plattsburgh had a very popular team. I graduated in 1983… We had a great time.

I believe Plattsburgh has long been considered the SUNY hockey power. I believe Oswego won the SUNYAC this year.

Stony Brook’s program, a club team and not a scholarship sport, finished 2010 ranked #14 in the country, and has gone to the national championships almost every year. /shameless plug :)

Chris

Plattsburgh is the place to be if you love college hockey!

Geneseo is all about their hockey team.

Hockey is big at Brockport

I attended Plattsburgh and it was ALL about the hockey. They did recruit several players from Canada and it was a powerhouse back in the day and a lot of fun to attend the games (I was there in the early '80s)

I’ll echo Geneseograd, the hockey games are pretty popular at Geneseo.

NCAA Champions: 2007

SUNYAC Champions: 1980, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1989, 1991, 2003

NCAA Tournament Participants: 1982, 1983, 1984, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1998, 2003, 200

Definitely SUNY Plattsburgh, and also SUNY Oswego.

I’m excited because I’m going to Plattsburgh this fall and will get to see the games.
