<p>Hi. My son is a junior in HS & we are looking into schools. I find the whole SUNY thing confusing. I know that if I wanted theater/arts I would go look at Purchase, but which are the best SUNY's for Political Science? We are going to look at Albany, but we need to look at others as well. He has a 3.4 unweighted GPA & 1880 on his SAT's. Any help would be great. Thanks!</p>

<p>Then study Geneseo, which is the Honors College. It has no graduate departments. See if his stats qualify him for Honors, if there are enough Poli Sci courses to maintain him, and if he’d want to be in a more rural setting than the other options mentioned. Its goal is to bring together undergraduates who are serious about academics as evidenced by their h.s. statistics.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, with their average GPA of 90.89 & SAT of 1985 I do not think he would qualify for an Honors program, or even be accepted, although it is the perfect sizw school for him.</p>
<p>Buffalo would be a very good fit for him.</p>
