which t14 schools value lsat heavily?

Stacy,

Do you think you might have fallen victim to an "admissions game." I here the practice is much more common in law school admissions.

This may be of relevance:

<a href="http://leiterreports.typepad.com/blog/2005/04/more_evidence_o.html%5B/url%5D">http://leiterreports.typepad.com/blog/2005/04/more_evidence_o.html</a></p>

nspeds, i'm not sure what you mean by admissions game. if you're talking about yield protection, where people aren't accepted to schools who don't believe that they're going to attend, i doubt it...i expressed my interest in specific Boalt programs, and had a targeted recommendation from a former administrator at Berkeley. i just think that a) they're trying to raise their scores & rankings and b) they give more of a boost to ca residents than i'd thought.

it would've been nice there, but i'm thrilled to be where i am now.

I'm pretty sure that Boalt, at least, does not yield protect. They go after top applicants aggressively. Most Yale/Stanford admits who applied to Boalt got a yes call within ten days of mailing the application.
