<p>They both appear to be good professors but which one should I take. I need to do well in this class as it is a requirement for my biology major. I am very afraid of not doing well because I don't like chemistry.

<p>I only see Pederson teaching Fall 2007, perhaps I'm missing something. I had Frechet about a year back, he was an awesomely funny guy. I've heard good things about Pederson also...</p>
<p>Honestly, Chem 3A is not that hard, just keep up with the class material and learn how to study efficiently. You should do fine, almost everybody in the class is learning the organic chem stuff at the same time, in Chem 1A you had many students who were already quite versed in the subject.</p>
