Hello people. I want to go to a competitive college. Soon I will be taking the Math 2 and Physics subject tests and I was wondering if I should take another test; one of the histories. I am in AP World History this year and I am doing well, but I obviously won't know how I do on the AP Test before I take the subject test. However, I took the APUSH exam last year and got a 5, although the material is not as fresh in my mind as the world history is. My intended major (for now) is in the sciences, so is an additional test worth taking? Thanks!

Can you access a practice test? That might help make the decision for you. I don’t know if those are available but it seems my son’s teachers held review or practice sessions so you probably can get review materials if not practice tests.

For science major, you usual need Math2 plus a science for subject tests. For a third subject test, I would suggest either another science or something different. For you, World History sounds good if you really want a third subject test. Try a sample test first to see how you do. It is the best use of time if you are taking AP classes at the same time. Forget about APUSH. My daughter also got a 5 last year and she was not comfortable to take the subject test in September after trying a practice test.
