Okay. So here is the problem. I am planning on taking 3 tests total. I know one for sure is going to be chemistry. I've taken a year long honors course in chem and feel confident about th topics. But, I dont know what else to take. I would love to take Math II (over Math I), but I am only in Alg II/Trig this year. Is it possible to cram in enough math this summer to be prepared for the Math II? If so, that would rule out 2, and narrow it down to 1 more. Im not taking year long phys or AP bio till next year, im not good at history, and I just completed spanish 3. Im pretty mediocre when it comes to english as well. So maybe spanish? or maybe Literature? Any suggestions as to the other 2 subject tests i should take? (maybe math II, and something else).

Thanks in advance!

I'm in the same situation as you in regards to the Math II. I haven't taken Precalc yet (but I am taking it next year). Would studying this summer and a few months in precalc be enough to get a sufficient score on the Math II exam?

Also. I've heard that the lit test is pretty easy especially if you've done well on the CR part of the SAT. I'm not really sure about Spanish though.

Math II has an extremely lenient curve, definately try and take it.
Pre Cal topics are very easy to learn.
my school offers a whole precal class for just 3 weeks (2 hours a day, 4 days a week)
so i know it's possible

i suggest SAT Bio.
i haven't taken Biology since freshmen year, but I still remember almost all the material.
and Biology is basically memorization, so it's easy if you have the time :]

thanks guys!

any other suggestions?

So...also if i am going to self-study Pre Calc / Math Level II (over the summer

What book(s) do you recommend?

a pre-calc book, or a math II prep book, and which kind (barrons, etc) ??

i would recommend Princeton Review.
don't use Barron's if you don't know Precal, it will only confuse you.

why not just take 2? it really doesn't make any sense to take a test you aren't ready for, especially since colleges will see that score no matter what. plus three subject tests is a lot for one day (i know from experience- def would have received better scores if i had spaced it out). i would recommend taking chem & math 2 at one test date, and then wait and see which other subject you are most comfortable with for a later test date. that way you could also retake chem or math 2 if you are unsatisfied with your scores.

not all in one day, chem in june

2 others senior year

Wait do UC's req 2 or 3?
