which to retake (bad sat scores)

I'm wondering which of these two tests I should retake:
SAT 1: 1870 (600 CR, 590 M, 680 W)
or SAT 2: USHIST 700 and MATH 2 640

I plan to apply to to the UC schools and their app. deadline is nov.30 and the earliest SAT test day is October 6, 2007 and the only one after that is nov.3rd, which I think is cutting it too close

any help would be greatly appreciated

first of all, those scores are not bad... they are very good

maybe not good enough for berkeley, but they are still good.

I believe you can still submit your November sat scores..... so do both

Call the schools and ask them if you can use the November scores; there is a very good chance you can.

The latest test date is december. You can take the december test and still rush it in time for apps

thanks very much for the replies
are those scores good enough for say Davis?

Davis i would say yes. but nothing is for sure. Also it's also heavily dependent of your gpa

thanks
i think i'll retake them both then, if i have time, and maybe find another SAT II

Retake the SAT I first if you have to choose.

thanks, yeah i'll aim for that first.
is princeton review a good study book for SAT?
